Version History
Berokyo 1.35 - March 6, 2010
This release provides several new features, improvements and bug fixes.
Changelog:
- Added full support for tagging items so they are better classified, organized and indexed. Of course, now you can search your items using tags too.
- Added a new Properties window to easily view or change the selected item properties. The currently supported properties are: target, name, description and tags.
- Added special commands for quickly setting search filters. They are: 'Search Names Only (ALT+4)', 'Search Descriptions Only (ALT+5)', 'Search Tags Only (ALT+6)' and 'Search All (ALT+7)'.
- Now you can change the location of the Store Folder in the Preferences window. That is the folder where the application stores its configuration files and data. This new feature allows you to easily switch among different configurations or even share the same configuration among different systems or user accounts.
- Added options to the View menu and Personalization window to display the number of items each category contains.
- Now when searching items the categories can optionally display the number of matches they contain.
- Now every time you change the cabinet mode a status message is shown in the bottom bar to confirm the change.
- Moved the animation options to the Preferences window to apply them as global settings.
- Other small fixes and enhancements.
Berokyo 1.30 - February 19, 2010
This release provides several new features, improvements and bug fixes.
Changelog:
- Added the 'Shelf Perspective Level' to the Style options in the Personalization window to further customize the 3D look and feel of the cabinet.
- Added a 'Set Custom Thumbnail' command to the Items menu to set a custom thumbnail or image to one or multiple selected items. You can always go back to the original thumbnail by using the 'Refresh Thumbnail' command.
- Now the thumbnail size is applied to selected items only. This way items of the same or different type can have different thumbnail sizes.
- Added an option to the Personalization window to set how many seconds the mouse should stay on the screen edge for the docked cabinet to show up. This option helps to prevent the cabinet from showing accidentally and without having to use the key-pressed alternative.
- Added a close/hide button to the upper-left corner of the cabinet.
- Added options to the View menu and Personalization window to optionally add the hotkey information to the cabinet name.
- Renamed the 'Keep Visible' mode to 'Always On Top' which better reflects the purpose of this mode.
- Now if the auto-hide option is enabled the cabinet will hide automatically after an item is opened (launched) no matter if the cabinet is currently docked or floating.
- Now when renaming items or categories there is no need to press the Enter key to accept the changes but just click outside the edit box. To discard the changes press the Esc key.
- Other small fixes and enhancements.

Berokyo 1.20 - December 2, 2009
This release provides several new features, improvements and bug fixes.
Changelog:
- Added support for adding items and URLs using copy (CMD+C) and paste (CMD+V) commands.

- URLs can now be dragged directly from the Web browser address bar into cabinets to easily create bookmarks.
- Added a Kiosk mode that shows the cabinet all the time in the background and in read-only state. The Kiosk mode can optionally be protected by a password so that the cabinet cannot be closed without authorization. Cabinets in kiosk mode can optionally be shown at system startup.
- Bookmarks can now be dragged directly from cabinets into the Web browser or any text box/editor allowing you to quickly open them or copy their URLs, respectively.
- Added special commands for quickly searching items. They are: 'Repeat Last Search (ALT+1)', 'Show Recently Opened (ALT+2)' and 'Show Recently Added (ALT+3)'.
- Added options to the Preferences window for selecting what to do when the cabinet is shown. Possible options are: 'Show the most recently opened items, if any', 'Clear the search box and select the first item' or 'Keep the last search in the box, if any'.
- Added a menu bar at the top of the cabinet showing menus for Cabinet, Categories, Items, View, Personalize and Help. The new menu bar can be easily hidden or shown by pressing ALT+M.
- Added a Quick Start dialog to quickly perform the most common actions for setting up cabinets. The dialog is automatically shown when a new cabinet is created and can also be activated at any time by pressing CMD+F1.
- Added options to the Personalization window for showing or hiding the different elements in the cabinet, disabling animations and customizing the text.
- Items can now be sorted alphabetically inside every (or selected) category/subcategory in both ascending and descending order.
- Added commands for quickly toggling the top, menu and bottom bars on/off.
- Added new built-in styles including: Cork, Leather, Fabric, Bricks, Tablecloth and Teen Girl.
- Added support for copying and moving items to other categories in the same or different cabinets using the copy (CMD+C), cut (CMD+X) and paste (CMD+V) commands.
- Now the 'New Category' command shows a submenu that allows you to create the new category or subcategory in the desired place.
- Added options to the Preferences window for controlling how the labels are shown when adding items. Possible options are: If generic icon, Always or Never (default).
- Now when searching items in a cabinet, the first item in the list of filtered items is automatically selected so it can be quickly launched by pressing Enter. So far you needed to press the Tab key for moving focus to the list and then press Enter.
- Added an auto-save feature for automatically saving any changes in the cabinet configuration (style, options, categories, items, etc).
- Now if the item's label is shown but the text doesn't fit inside the label, the tooltip is also shown when hovering the item.
- The name of the cabinet can optionally be displayed at the top-left corner.
- The search box can now be hidden and disabled. This also disables the incremental search feature.
- In Quick Search the 'Live Search' provider was replaced by 'Bing'.
